Everyone loves to enjoy a quiet day on the coast to get away from the pressures of life. Join Eric as he considers Isaiah's use of coastlands to demonstrate how to renew our strength. As our nation celebrates Father's Day, everyone is mindful of their earthly dads. That's a good thing for some but a bad thing for others. Regardless, though, we have the opportunity to have a personal relationship with the Heavenly Father. Join Eric as he considers the story of the Prodigal Son, along with what the New Testament says about our "Abba Father". The biblical city of Tyre was known for its valuable rubies; however, the prophet Ezekiel has a stern message for the people and the way they are living their lives. Based in Ezekiel 26-28, join Eric as he considers some valuable lessons for us today. Hickory Knoll's Vacation Bible School was a great success! One of the highlights among many was our youngsters singing, "Booster, booster, be a booster, don't be grouchy like a rooster..." In the New Testament, the Bible dicusses a story of the Apostle Peter and a rooster. Join Eric as he discusses this story along with the positive impact it had in Peter's life from that point on. As the Hickory Knoll congregation prepares for their upcoming Vacation Bible School, Eric presents a lesson on this year's overall theme: "A Blue Ribbon Life: A Study of the Fruit of the Spirit." |
